New Order Form
by on October 7, 2010 in Recent Activity

Dixie (my wife and official wraptress) has designed an attractive new order form, featuring cover art and sorting titles by style instead of date. You’ll find it under the SHOP link above. At first I was a bit reluctant to organize my releases this way, because I prefer not to categorize my music. But while we were on tour this summer, Dixie found that many listeners appreciated stylistic sorting, rather than simple chronological order. Check out the new form and let us know if you like the changes. You can still link to the old chronological form from the new one. Thanks for visiting! – RR

Hi Robert, its such a nice idea from Dixie because it permits to look fast for what we want in your catalogue. Real listenners knows that categorization are often hazardous but its like tools for a precise search ! So i prefer this version !

As I already do have all production of yours it is not of a great importance to me. But it looks better with all that covers. You can sense a touch of a woman’s hand in it. Nice.

The new form looks cool, and you need this more “multidimensional” approach as your catalogue has grown as large as it is.

Only thing is that one could discuss the classification. Many of your albums could be included under several captions.

I totally agree, Jussi – classification is a difficult problem. I was a bit critical of the approach for this reason, but I decided to let Dixie use the categories as they are. No reason to fuss too much. – RR
