Downloads on Valley & Surround mixes on Jhana
by on September 29, 2011 in Recent Activity

You can now download 5.1 surround mixes of my music through a new company called Jhana Music, here:

The first title available is the complete 90 minute surround score to Atlas Dei, minus the visuals. Coming soon, we should see my surround mixes of “Ylang” and “Medicine Box” along with up-mixes from some older albums. Jhana offers free software that will act as a surround player on different platforms (Mac, PC and mobile devices) even including a SRS decoder for immersive headphone listening.

Also in download news, Valley Entertainment is now offering direct downloads of my entire solo catalog, including my decade with Hearts of Space/Fathom. Valley purchased the Hearts of Space label about ten years ago, and they have been keeping those titles in print. You can find my artist page here:

Stay tuned for “Medicine Box”…

    hi Robert.

nice to see that you have so interested in 5.1 surround.
in my opinion, this is the future of even deeper ambient music, keep it going.

in what format is music on Jhana, is there FLAC 5.1 24/96?

  2. admin says:

Jhana is offering downloads at the very highest quality AC3 encoding, but not FLAC. My original tracks are 48kHz so there would have been no advantage of 96kHz. The download should sound very good.

Wow, that is fantastic news, Robert. Any chance of a surround ‘Stalker’ or ‘Zerkalo’?

    best, Wasili

  4. Al says:

Ahhh, a 5.1 Stalker. I drool at that prospect.
