Early 2021 Paintings
I got rather busy with music during the second half of 2020, and finally started playing with inks again in late January 2021. This first batch is just for practice, and some of it is not worthy to show here. I wanted to experiment with materials, using paper just to keep it quick. I tried a bit of oil-resist and also some crushed marble powder mixed into white, to see how it looked as an overlay on paper (it’s better on canvas, I think.) I like a few of these, although they are mostly pure experiment, playing with materials.
